At first, it did not work, but after just a few minutes of reading this help page specific to Blackmagic capture cards, it worked: Just make sure that is was just one other program, I downloaded and installed the trial version of vMix21. I didn't try the 25, 50 frame rate settings as I'm in USA. Note, Media Express was closed after checking as two programs cannot access the video card at the same time. I also closed MC before and after all the changes to confirm there is a live signal which I can see in Blackmagic Media Express "Log and Capture". Also, I had already tried all these combinations before I lost access to the filter "Properties". In other words, I'm not just changing the filter properties selects while the feed is live. I don't think user error is coming into play as I select "Apply", OK, OK, OK, and wait until after "camera" disappears from the live feed after each filter change. Since none of those 20 settings worked, I repeated all of them with "Disable VideoClock when not." checked. Also tried unchecking "Override Video Mode". Now, the "Properties" can be edited again, I tried all the settings for 1080p60, 1080p59.94, 1080p30, 1080p29.97, and Auto, selecting each pixel format for each display mode (8 bit YUV, 10 bit YUV, 8 bit BRGA, 10 bit RGB). "Black magic WDM Capture.(analog)" should be listed at the top. Right-click on "Television", select "Manage Devices".

Thanks.About a year ago, I had the Black Magic Intensity Pro 4K working, but abandoned it. The latest is v11.6. We are on OSX Mojave. We also experimented with different version of the blackmagic desktop video setup to no avail. We have also tried with 2 other BM mini monitor, different hdmi cable and computer. Searching through the site, it seems like a few other users also encounter the same problem without a solution.Īll this happened in v13 and upgrading to v14 today didn't solve it. Anyway, all this workaround are not much of a solution as the distortion/silent will kick in again after awhile.Īs it is, it is unusable as we would like to connect this output to the LiveU solo for encoding and also to the Ninja V for recording. The audio will somehow return on its own eventually, or we will have to stop the output and restart again. Turning the headphone monitoring on and off can also get the audio back again.
As we switched and playback between a few MP4 video clips and our camera source, the audio will get distorted slowly and then cut off completely. The video output from Wirecast 14 through Blackmagic Ultra Studio Monitor is not working properly.
